Poy Sippi celebrates 100 years of service to the Tustin area

On Oct. 24, Poy Sippi Volunteer Fire Department hosted an Open House at their Tustin Station to celebrate 100 years of continuous fire service to the Tustin area and unveil the new memorial.
On Oct. 26, 1926, the Tustin Fire Department was formed and held its first meeting. On May 1, 2007, the Tustin Fire Department merged with Poy Sippi Fire Department, continuing fire protection to the area.
A new memorial was also unveiled. It was made possible through a generous donation from the Ray Koepp family in his memory.
The fire department appreciates everyone who came out. The volunteers enjoyed visiting with you and hearing personal stories. The department looks forward to continuing to serve the community. Your continued support is greatly appreciated.
