Over 150 community members enjoy a day of folk music with Black Hawk Folk Society
The first group to take the stage for the festival were Del Weed and his Sweet Rollers from Waupaca. They played Americana folk and good time music.

Sarah Schimke from Redgranite was one of the vendors demonstrating how she spins wool into the yarn. Sarah, owner of Willow Homestead and a shepherdess, spins wool from the sheep that she and her husband raise.

Bill Kehl was the MC for the Festival and provided entertainment between acts with his various musical instruments, stories, and jokes.

The weather was nice and warm with plenty of sun for the Black Hawk Folk Music Society Festival in its 38th year on July 11. The Festival was held at the Mt. Morris Town Park and was attended by over 150 people.
