Neshkoro American Legion needs help to keep local veteran in his home

The Neshkoro American Legion Post 423 is asking for help from the community to help a local veteran stay in his home. The need has arisen due to a local veteran whom is currently unemployed being advised by the Marquette County Health Department that he has to move due to his well having run dry.

 
A Powerful Tool for those caring for a loved one, friend or neighbor

The Waushara County Department of Aging is offering a “Powerful Tools for Caregivers” series beginning on Thursday, Jan. 23, and concluding on Feb. 27.  This is a six-week series that will meet from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. each week and class size is limited.  Each class builds upon previous skills acquired.
