UW-Hancock Research Center showcases beautiful horticulture on Aug. 7
The University of Wisconsin Hancock Research Center recently held an open house exhibiting the beautiful flower gardens. Elizabeth Giencke and Marianna Laron of Wautoma visited the center for the first time. Marianna said, "It looked like a fun event. We love music, and I have a neighbor who works here. Just beautiful with all the flowers!"

Jeannine and Roger Neuman from WI Rapids received an invitation from a friend to attend for the first time. Jeannine exclaimed, "What a beautiful location and arrangements of flower beds, I never really knew what was here!"

Dan Keach from Monroe Center, IL, attended for the second time, bringing along his camera. "As an artist, I enjoy the beauty of the flowers. I am trying to capture the variety of butterflies in the area with my photography."

Members of the Hancock Citizens' Committee had a booth welcoming visitors to learn more about the town and how people could volunteer within the community.

Elaina visited the research center with her grandparents, enjoying the garden produce, snacks, music, and a tour of the facilities.

Stephana Scholzen, of Pittsville, and Terrie Brown, of WI Rapids, have been best friends since kindergarten and attended the UW-Hancock Research Station open house together on Aug. 7.
