The Central Wisconsin chapter of Trout Unlimited (CWTU) will hold its popular Trout Fest event on Saturday, Feb. 28, from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. at the Mt. Morris Conference Center.
There will be something for everyone, including presentations on trout fishing and conservation, information booths and vendors, raffles, lots of discontinued fly-tying materials, used fishing gear and books, and fly-tying demonstrations, including youth fly-tying.
Several of the presentations will focus on new places to fish in 2026, including a presentation by DNR fisheries habitat biologist Shawn Sullivan. This presentation will detail new sites that have had access improvements.
Food and drink will be available on site. A small admission fee will be charged that will benefit the Central Wisconsin Trout Unlimited mission.
More information and details are available at the CWTU website cwtu.org.
