Tri-County Area School District request commercial roof replacement proposal

The Tri-County Area School District invites proposals from qualified contractors for the replacement of the roof on the school building at 409 S. West Street, Plainfield WI. To be considered for this contract, your business must meet the qualifications and satisfy the requirements outlined in this Request for Proposal. Proposals must be received at the physical address OR email address listed below no later than May 16, 2025 3:00PM. 

GENERAL SCOPE 

The School District is seeking interested and qualified contractors to submit a proposal to replace the existing flat roofing second on the School. (See attached photo). Proposals must include all labor, materials, personnel, and equipment necessary to complete the project. Interested persons must demonstrate qualifications, experience, and abilities associated to accomplish and support all aspects of the prescribed scope of work cost-effectively. 

SCOPE OF WORK 

• Remove and dispose of existing stone ballast 
• Remove and replace any saturated roofing insulation 
• Furnish and install .5” recovery board 
• Furnish and install mechanically attached 60MIL PVC roofing system 
• Furnish and install new, steel edge metal(coping/flashing) to match the existing color
• Furnish and install new retrofit drain inserts with new cages 
• Reflash all wall scupper drains on the roofing systems 
• Keep a clean worksite and remove all garbage and debris from the property ● Adhere to all OSHA safety standards 
• Provide a 25-year Manufactures Membrane Warranty
• Provide a 20-year Workmanship Warranty
