The Waushara Tavern League recently selected the Vision 2020 Backpack Nutrition Program to receive financial support. Tavern League Secretary Christine Niles presented the $1,000 donation to Backpack Nutrition Program Committee on May 1.

Parkside Middle School 5th grader Caprice Juday was recently recognized by Waushara County Sheriff Jeff Nett and Wautoma Police Chief Paul Weiss for coming to the aide of a fellow student who suffered a medical emergency on April 1.
