Members of the Coloma Lions met on April 7 for their monthly meeting at the Anna Follett Community Center for meal catered by Brittany Clausen. During the meeting three new members were inducted into the Coloma Lions Club by Lion Art Dee. Lion Ted Lewko sponsored new member Terra Francke and Lion Ray Burrows sponsored new members Kim and Matt Zuehlke.

Tri-County School District goes one-to-one with Google Chromebooks for math block classes

In Plainfield, Nick Marti, 7-12 Tri-County Principal, explained the process the math department went through to get Tri-County to where they are today.  “Our entire mathematics program has been revamped over the course of the past two school years, thanks to creative problem solving and collaboration by the members of our mathematics department.  They initially designed a system of acceleration for our most gifted mathematics students, which takes place in middle school.
