All Wautoma School students to receive free breakfast and lunch in 2014-15

The Wautoma School Board approved the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), which will offer free school meals to every student in the district without collecting household applications at their regular meeting held at Redgranite Elementary on April 14.

On April 1, residents throughout the area voted for their representatives for Waushara County Board of Supervisors, School Board members, Alderpersons for the City of Wautoma, and Trustees for both the Village of Coloma and the Village of Redgranite.

The Waushara Argus sent a questionnaire to the Waushara County Board of Supervisors candidates for the April 1 election:

 
No change in EMS service in county, committee continues to look at options

During the public comments at the Waushara County Board of Supervisors meeting held on Feb. 18 in the county board room at the Waushara County Courthouse, Ruth Zouski, Corporation Counsel, addressed the Emergency Medical Services.  Zouski said that no doubt the supervisors had received calls and comments on the EMS.  She said that the committee is looking at options and has made no decisions on eliminating EMS/ambulance service.  They continue to gather information.
