Auditions for “Pinocchio” to be held June 16

The McComb/Bruchs Performing Arts Center in Wautoma will be presenting an opportunity for area youth ages 7-18 to participate in the Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre original musical production of “Pinocchio”, with script and original music by Robert Gribas and Angela Rinaldi Gribas.

Father David Greskowiak was assigned to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Wautoma on July 1.  He arrived on July 3 and was pleasantly surprised when he saw the beauty of the area.

The first Waushara County Board of Supervisors meeting after the spring election was held on April 15. Waushara County Circuit Court Judge Guy Dutcher swore in the newly elected members.

 
Sheriff Nett provides updates on Emergency Medical Dispatch

Waushara County Sheriff Jeffrey Nett gave a presentation regarding the implementation of the Waushara County Emergency Medical Dispatch and training the dispatch staff has received during the Waushara County Board of Supervisors regular meeting on May 21.

 
No change in EMS service in county, committee continues to look at options

During the public comments at the Waushara County Board of Supervisors meeting held on Feb. 18 in the county board room at the Waushara County Courthouse, Ruth Zouski, Corporation Counsel, addressed the Emergency Medical Services.  Zouski said that no doubt the supervisors had received calls and comments on the EMS.  She said that the committee is looking at options and has made no decisions on eliminating EMS/ambulance service.  They continue to gather information.
