During his visit he learned more about the enhancements the district has made to their physical fitness programs using the money from the Carol M. White Physical Education Program (PEP Grant).

Riverview 1st grader Caeden Miller was nominated by Ms. Weiland as student of the month. Caeden was chosen because he is kind to others and always chooses to do the right thing. He is a role model for the class and someone that others look up to. Caeden also took it upon himself to ask Mrs. Fajfer to take our school’s American Flag down each night after school. This gesture shows Caeden’s passion, responsibility, and determination. Caeden truly represents the Hornet Way.

Flyte’s Fieldstones, located between Wautoma and Coloma on Hwy. 21, is offering a free classroom program to area schools focused on composting, recycling and farming. To date, the entertaining and educational presentation has been seen by over 20 elementary classes.
