Wautoma Common Council approves 2014 employee health plan Print E-mail

The Wautoma Common Council approved Resolution 14-001 on Jan. 13 at their regular meeting at city hall regarding the health care insurance package offered to city employees working 30 hours or more. The council approved the same health insurance plan from 2013, which would allow a reprieve since the plan will increase only 28 percent rather than 41 percent initially budgeted.

The filing deadline has passed to be on the ballot for Waushara County Board supervisor at the April 1, 2014 election.

 
Village of Coloma not receptive to detour proposal Print E-mail

The Coloma Village Board held an informational meeting with the Department of Transportation (DOT) to discuss the detour when the Hwy 21 bridge will be closed for 8 to 10 weeks. The public was invited to attend and the community center had a full house on Thurs., Jan. 9.
