Wautoma improved on their South Central Conference record by winning their home game against the Adams-Friendship Green Devils on April 22. The Hornets allowed two runs on four hits throughout the entire game ending the game, 8-2. The winning pitcher was Jack Eagan pitching all 7 innings, 11 strikes, 2 walks, 4 hits, and 2 runs.

On April 22, the Lady Hornets girls’ softball team lost to their South Central Conference rival Adams-Friendship on the road 11-0. Leading up to game, the Lady Green Devils were ranked the 7th team in Division 2.

During the April 17 Central Conference matchup against Marion the Wild Rose boys’ baseball team took a four run lead in the first inning and never looked back. The Wildcats went on to win, 14-4.
