After having a first round bye the Wild Rose Wildcats went on to take a 4-1 loss in the second round of Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Asso-ciation baseball regionals against Rio in Wild Rose on June 4.

Even though the number one seed Wautoma boys’ baseball team had home field advantage and a bye in the first round of the Division 2 Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Regional, the Hornets fell victim to errors on June 4 and were defeated by South Central Conference rival number four seed Westfield, 7-4.

Tri-County High School held the WIAA Division 3 Track and Field Regional on May 27. The Wild Rose Wildcats came home with first place after 18 events and earning a total of 155 points. Team Rankings were: Wild Rose, 155; St. Mary Central, 114; Tri-County, 102; Port Edwards, 72; Pittsville, 70; Pacelli, 65; Almond-Bancroft, 52; and Assumption, 47.
