The Veterans Memorial Dedication was held on Aug. 16 at the Montello Courthouse. The memorial’s stone was moved from the courthouse lawn to the roadside location, and is now the center of the large display, which includes a tile background wall, railings, landscaping and lighting, and large, round insignias indicating each branch of the U.S. Armed Forces.
