Mary Ann Pichelmann passed away at her home after many years of struggling with illness. Mary had a strong passion for advocating. She tried to help make things better the best way she knew how and put her heart into advocating for others, to whom she felt, she could help make a difference.
Mary achieved her Degrees in sociology and social welfare from UW-Milwaukee and resided in Stevens Point.
She was born on Aug. 30, 1961 in Wisconsin Rapids to Donna (Allison) Pichelmann and Raymond Pichelmann.
She is survived by her daughter: Melanie Ann (Steve) Whitlow, and grandchildren: Emma, Raul, and Vincent, Milwaukee; mother: Donna Pichelmann; Bancroft; siblings: Kathy Hanley, Schertz, TX, Sherry (Tom) Cunningham, North Freedom, Mike Pichelmann, Stillman Valley, and Diane (Rick) Pichelmann-Sutherland, Nekoosa; and many nieces and nephews and their spouses.
She was preceded in death by her father: Raymond Pichelmann; two sisters: Terri Pichelmann and Jeanne Hansen; and brother-in-law: Daryl Hanley, II.
Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield, is assisting the family with arrangements.
