•12/8/13: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 4:50 a.m. on Highway YY in the Town of Marion. John Hobbs, 53, Neshkoro, was traveling eastbound when his vehicle struck a deer.
•12/12/13: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 6:43 p.m. on Bighorn Lane in the Town of Mt. Morris. A deputy was dispatched to a possible accident that resembled a rollover crash where the driver had left and failed to report it. The deputy was able to piece together information and debris at the accident site and locate Clayton Pietsch, 36, Wautoma, at his home just down the road from the location of the crash. Pietsch stated that he was involved in an accident and did not know what the process was to report the accident. Pietsch had an extremely strong odor of an intoxicating beverage coming from his breath and his speech was very slurred. He stated that he began drinking when he got home. Three citations were issued.
