Glen W. Moldenhauer, Wild Rose, formerly of Waukesah, 90, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, Dec.1, 2013 in Wild Rose. He was born Dec. 14, 1922 in the Town of Saxeville, son of Walter and Lillian (Streicher) Moldenhauer. Glen married Phyllis I. Merryfield on May 24, 1947 in Wild Rose and they shared 66 years of marriage before her passing this year on Aug. 31, 2013.
Glen is survived by three daughters: Susan (Ronald) Rietjens, Waukesha; Sheri (Mark) Jung, Whitewater; Sandra (Kelly) Petrie, Waukesha; son: Daniel (Jane) Moldenhauer, Waukesha; eleven grandchildren: Shelley (Derek) Effert; Jennifer (Stuart Stevens) Rietjens; Andrew (Rebecca) Lang; Nathan Lang; Shawna (BJ) Strickland; Trevor (Katie) Laufenberg; Josh (Jessica) Laufenberg; Ashley Laufenberg; Joe Petrie; Wesley (Angie Quall) Moldenhauer; Jason Moldenhauer; seventeen great-grandchildren; and sister:
Carol (Rodney) Radloff, Wild Rose. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Glen was preceded in death by his parents: Walter and Lillian Moldenhauer; his wife: Phyllis Moldenhauer; two brothers: Don and Ed; and two sisters: Doris and Gladys.
A funeral service will be on Friday, Dec. 6 at Noon at Hope Lutheran Church in Wautoma. Pastor Sarah Timian will officiate. A visitation will be held on Friday from 10 a.m. – Noon at the church. Burial will be on Saturday at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin.
