|Tri-County Board of Education approves Affordable Care Act|

The Tri-County Board of Education, Plainfield, met on Nov. 26 in the administration building, and approved policy changes for the Affordable Care Act. The current board policy states employees who are working over 30 hours will be offered benefits; however, starting Jan. 1, 2015, the school district will be penalized for not offering benefits to employees working 30 or more hours. The policy will be changed to include employees working 30 or more hours instead of employees working over 30 hours.
