During the regular City of Wautoma Common Council held at city hall on Nov. 11 the council unanimously appointed Ed Hernandez to fill the vacancy left by Alderman Robert Helbing.  Helbing resigned on Nov. 8 to fulfill his service to our country in the United States Army. He has left for training and is scheduled to be deployed to Kuwait later this year.  Hernandez has lived in Wautoma for the past 15 years and works for Waushara County Land Conservation and Zoning.  The appointed position term expires in April of 2014.
