The Wautoma Hornets tied up their South Central Conference (SCC) overall record with their 1-0 win over the Mauston Golden Eagles.
It was a tightly matched game, with the Hornets finally picking up a run by Ben Miller in the sixth inning. The team managed to make 3 hits, made by Ben Miller, Carson Rose, and Brady Abitz.
Rose also struck out 9 Golden Eagle players while serving as pitcher.
The Hornets now hold a 2-2 SCC record and a 4-7 overall record for the 2025 season.
