Wautoma area students encouraged to try mountain biking May 22
Wautoma area students in grades five to eleven are welcome to join the Wisconsin Interscholastic Cycling League to “Try Mountain Biking Out”. This is a great opportunity for students interested in the mountain bike team to try mountain biking. Coaches from Wautoma and the Wisconsin NICA League (National Interscholastic Cycling Association) will provide instruction.
No off-road cycling experience is necessary for participation. Come and see if mountain biking is a good fit for you. During the event, students will have a chance to receive skills instruction, play games, and ride.
No bike or helmet? No worries! Bikes and helmets will be available for use. Adults interested in coaching are also welcome to attend the event. RSVP for the event is necessary. Visit www.wautomamtb.org to sign up. The event will take place May 22 from 5 to 7 PM on the Nordic Mountain Biking Trails.
Come see what practice is like.
