Law enforcement investigates recovered skeletal remains in Wautoma

On Aug. 26, at approximately 12:08 p.m., Wautoma Police were called to a vacant lot on Division Street in the City of Wautoma. Officers arrived and spoke with an individual who found skeletal human remains while mowing the property.
On Aug. 29, with the assistance of a Forensic Anthropologist, the deceased individual was identified as David Jarvis (66 years of age). No foul play is suspected in his death.
The Wautoma Police Department and Waushara County Medical Examiner’s Office extend our condolences to David’s family and friends.
