Austin John Kopitzke, Berlin, was in court on April 30 on a count of Injury by Intoxicated Use/Vehicle and a count of OWI Cause Injury (2+). The Court orders: $10,000 sig bond to be signed by the close of business 5/1/2026. 3:25 PM: The Court takes a recess due to technical error. 3:28 PM: Case recalled - all appearances remain the same. The Court entertains waiver of the time limits for the preliminary hearing. The Court accepts voluntary waiver of the time limits for the preliminary hearing. STC Scheduled - NOH Given. Court enters Riverside Ruling in favor of the State. Complete ID process with the Sheriff's Department. The defendant must maintain absolute sobriety, may not be present upon the premises of any bars, and is prohibited from possessing/ingesting any impairing substances that have not been prescribed by a physician. A status conference is scheduled for June 15.

Conditions: Same conditions of probation as Ct. 2 with the exception of the jail time. Appeal rights given. Cash bond posted to be applied. Balance of the bond to remain on the case for the duration of the PPDA. Restitution hearing scheduled - NOH given. DE waives the time limits applicable to the restitution hearing. A restitution hearing is scheduled for July 1.

If no Domestic Abuse Program available, the Defendant to undergo an Anger Management program and follow through. Any other counseling or treatment as deemed appropriate by the supervising agent. 36 month DL revocation/IID requirement. OWI assessment. $600 fine plus costs w/60 DTP or PP. $42.50 blood draw fee w/60 DTP or PP. Defendant is eligible for the Substance Abuse Program, but is not eligible for the Challenge Incarceration Program. Appeal rights given.
