Enjoy an evening with Black Hawk Folk Society

Black Hawk Folk Society (BHFS) invites you to enjoy an evening of live music by Crowes Pasture, this Saturday, Oct. 11, starting at 7 p.m. Crowes Pasture, an award-winning duo from Boston, Massachusetts, blends guitar, banjo, and vocals for a signature style and audience-pleasing line-up. The concert venue is Mountain View Community Center, handicap friendly with free on-site parking, located at N3137 21st Lane, just off Highway 152, south of Mt. Morris. The evening kicks off with an optional potluck at 6 p.m., followed by Black Hawk’s annual meeting, open to all, at 6:30 p.m. The folk society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that welcomes volunteers and new council members. The annual meeting agenda includes electing officers.
