Emergency Management announces merger with Waushara County 911 Dispatch

Waushara County Emergency Management is pleased to share an important update that marks a transformative moment for public safety in our area. After a resolution at the Feb. 17 County Board meeting, the Board of Supervisors has officially authorized the merger between Emergency Management and the Waushara County 911 Communications Center (Dispatch), with implementation scheduled for June 1, 2026.
By uniting these two vital public safety departments, Waushara County is taking a forward-thinking approach to enhancing the coordination and seamless delivery of emergency services. This merger will promote closer collaboration among team members, enhance communication, and improve planning, all of which will empower us to respond more effectively to both routine incidents and complex emergencies. Throughout this transition, residents can be confident that the reliable, high-quality service they already expect will remain uninterrupted; calls for help will continue to be managed with professionalism and care.
