The Almond-Bancroft Eagles opened up their baseball season with a non conference matchup on April 3 against the Greenwood Indians. Greenwood started the game out strong, scoring two runs in the first inning, but they wouldn’t manage any more past that. After a slow start the Eagles managed 5 runs to win the season opener. Almond-Bancroft will look to expand on their 1-0 start on Thursday, April 10 at 4:30 p.m. when they’ll host the Wild Rose Wildcats for their first conference game of the season and again on April 11 at 4:30 p.m. when they’ll play host to the Wautoma Hornets.
