The Almond-Bancroft Eagles and Wild Rose Wildcats went head-to-head in conference basketball action on Feb. 12.
The Eagles were first on the board with a 2-point layup, but the Wildcats would answer back with a 3-point shot from Wyatt Bowen. The score would quickly tie up at 5-points, but the Wildcats would hold the lead going into the second half.
Both teams kept up an even pace in the second half, leading the game to go into overtime. This is where the Eagles would make a comeback, solidifying their 59-47 win over the Wildcats.
The Wildcats would end their night with a team total of 35 rebounds, and 6 assists and steals.
The Eagles led defense with 40 rebounds, 25 steals, and 6 assists.
