Wild Rose Wildcats welcomed their conference neighbors, the Almond-Bancroft Eagles, for Feb. 13 boys’ basketball action.
The Eagles secured an early lead, going into the second half ahead of the Wildcats 36-21. Wild Rose defense slowed down the scoring in the second half, but the Eagles were able to bring home a 58-38 conference win.
The Eagles were led by three double-digit scorers. Clarence Pratt scooped up 20-points while sinking six 3-point baskets. Brody Dernbach racked up 15 points, while Emmitt Stiles put up 14 of his own. Dernbach also made 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Clarence Pratt was also able to help with 7 rebounds and 3 steals.
The Wildcats were led by Braxton Landwehr with 15 points on the board, including four 3-point shots. Logan Erdman was able to add 7 points and Wyatt Bowen 6. Jaden Konrath and Erdman also made 7 rebounds each.
