Accidents reported in Waushara County

9/3/2026: A two-vehicle accident was reported at 1:45 p.m. on STH22 southbound in the Town of Dakota. Matthew Gawne, Wautoma, was southbound on STH22 when unknown unit 2 failed to yield from the stop sign, causing Gawne to roll.

9/4/2026: A two-vehicle accident was reported at 4:36 p.m. on Commercial St. in the Town of Poy Sippi. Wayne Bending, Berlin, was dropping off a child in the parking lot from the school bus. Bus was backing up westbound and struck a parked car in the far corner of the parking lot for the Roadrash Bar. The owner of the parked car was in her vehicle at the time and sustained no injuries.

9/13/2026: A one-vehicle accident was reported at 4:47 a.m. on STH49 southbound in the Town of Bloomfield. Isiah Schuh, Poy Sippi, was traveling southbound when failing to negotiate a curve, went off the roadway, became airborne over a driveway, and struck a tree. The vehicle started on fire, resulting in a fatal crash.

9/14/2026: A two-vehicle accident was reported at 7:02 a.m. on E. Division St. in the City of Wautoma. Michelle West, Plainfield, was traveling eastbound on Division St., stopped waiting to turn across traffic into the driveway. David Gable, Wautoma, was traveling eastbound behind West and did not observe the stopped vehicle due to sunlight glare. Gable struck West.

9/14/2026: A two-vehicle accident was reported at 7:30 p.m. in a parking lot in the Village of Wild Rose. Unit 2 was legally parked with the rear passenger door open. Christina Senz, Wautoma, was parked to the right, when pulling forward out of the spot. Senz side swiped Unit 2’s door, pushing it forward.

9/16/2026: A two-vehicle accident was reported at 11:51 a.m. on IH39 southbound in the Town of Coloma. Dshawn Anderson, Pascagoula, MS, was southbound when entering a construction zone. Lane one closed warnings were present. Barbara Decker, Elm Grove, began to merge, struck orange/white traffic barrel, and side swiped tire on semi-tractor trailer of Anderson in lane 2.

9/16/2026: A two-vehicle accident was reported at 2 p.m. on the intersection on STH73 at CTHO southbound in the Town of Wautoma. Alena Burow, Waupaca, failed to stop at the stop sign at CTHO and was struck by Ryell Kelly, Randolph, who was traveling on STH73. Kelly was carrying a DOC prisoner in custody.

9/18/2026: A two-vehicle accident was reported at 6:08 p.m. on STH49 southbound in the Town of Aurora. Natalie Butzin, Wild Rose, was traveling south on STH49 and struck Steven Obydine, Berlin, who was stopped at the stop sign traveling south on STH49. Butzin advised that with the weather conditions, she did not see the vehicle until it was too late.

9/20/2026: A one-vehicle accident was reported at 2 a.m. on STH49 northbound in the Town of Aurora. Jonathan Cabrera, Berlin, lef the roadway to the right before crossing back over the center line and then leaving the roadway to the left and entering the southbound ditch and then rolling several times, and vehicle coming to rest back on its’ wheels. Cabrera left the scene and failed to notify law enforcement of the accident. Cabrera had signs of impairment and upon completion of investigation was taken into custody for OWI-1^st Offense.

9/20/2026: A two-vehicle accident was reported at 3:38 p.m. on N. Waupaca St./STH22 southbound in the City of Wautoma. Eden Cooley, Green Bay, was following unknown Unit 2 semi in the right turn lane. Unit 2 stopped, backed up, and struck Cooley. Unit 2 then left the scene.

9/22/2026: A one-vehicle accident was reported at 10:36 p.m. on private property in the Town of Oasis. Zachary Gunderson, Wautoma. Engaged in a vehicle pursuit travels southbound on 7^th Ave, continuing south onto a path following power lines. Gunderson strikes an unknown object. Vehicle continues south in pursuit of the suspect vehicle.

9/19/2026: At 7:30 p.m., Janalou Dueck, Mount Crawford, VA, on CTHF, Westbound, Town of Marion.

9/21/2026: At 11:26 p.m., Sijia Li, Wautoma, on STH21, Eastbound, Town of Wautoma.

9/23/2026: At 7:05 p.m. Jonathan Jensen, Wautoma, on STH22, Southbound, Town of Wautoma.

9/24/2026: At 5:35 a.m. Ryder Schultz, Wild Rose, on CTHXX, Northbound, Town of Aurora.
