Accidents reported in Waushara County

2/22/2026: A two-vehicle accident was reported at 3:15 p.m. on STH21 westbound in the Town of Richford.Unit 1 was eastbound on STH21 while Lorvin Orellana, Endeavor, was westbound. Orellana stated that the wind from Unit 1 (in a semi) made his vehicle slide sideways, crossing the centerline and making contact to the left rear corner of Unit 1. Orellana went on to the left should and then back across the road where he came to rest in a field on the north side of the road. Unit 1 did not stop.

3/1/2026: A one-vehicle accident was reported at 2:41 p.m. on Cree Rd. in the Town of Marion. Jacob Mast, Neenah, was operating at 45 MPH in a 35 MPH when he hit a patch of ice under overhanging trees. At the same time he came upon an eastbound vehicle and hit the brakes to slow down for the turn. The rest of the road was clear. Mast lost control of the vehicle, which slid sideways, turned all the way around, hit a tree in the ditch, and turned over on its side.
