Wild Rose wins at Weyauwega-Fremont

The Wild Rose boys basketball team wrapped up their regular season with a 75-42 road win at Weyauwega -Fremont on Feb. 22.

The Wildcats raced out to a 43-16 first half advantage and never looked back, with Wild Rose placing four players in double figures for scoring.

“This was a positive way to finish up the season. I was very happy with our defensive intensity, especially in the first half,” stated Wild Rose Head Coach James Komp.

Alec VandeCastle led all scorers with 25 points, followed by: Caleb Williams, 17 points; Jeremiah Churchville, 12 points; and Travis Jansen, 10 points.
