Wild Rose girls compete at UWSP Indoor Meet

    The Wild Rose girls track competed in the 25-team Point Invitational held at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Health Enhancement Center on March 16.  

    Kimberly took home 1st  place with 77 points, followed by: Stevens Point, 46.5; Appleton North, 45; Kaukauna, 42; DC Everest, 35; Bay Port, 34; Neenah, 31; Rosholt, 30; Mosinee, 27.5; Marshfield, 27; Ashwaubenon, 24; Wisconsin Dells, 18; Fond du Lac, 17; Auburndale, 16; Marathon, 15; Algoma, 11; Hortonville, 10; Adams-Friendship, 10; Wausau East, 6; Iola-Scandinavia, 6; LaCrosse Logan, 5; Pacelli, 4; Wild Rose, 3; Nekoosa, 3; and Green Bay West, 2. 

    Top finishers for the Wildcats included:

    • 400 Meters: 7, Candice Milne, 1:05.12; Jessica Ramirez, 1:11.98.

    • 800 Meters: 14, Candice Milne, 2:45.68.

    • 1600 Meters: 20, Mackenzie Caves, 6:10.92; 33, Kiana Julian, 6:27.13.

    • 4x200 Meter Relay: 8, Olivia Bennott, Anna Caswell, Torrance Marquez, Addy Lauritzen, 1:57.78. 

    • 4x400 Meter Relay: 22, Jessica Ramirez, Karli Hansen, Olivia Bennott, Mackenzie Stoll, 4:53.47. 

    • 4x800 Meter Relay: 12, Kiana Julian, Mackenzie Caves, Karli Hansen, Dalene Sherburn, 11:37.75. 

    • High Jump: 10, Briana Lund, 4-08.00. 

    • Triple Jump: 10, Addy Lauritzen, 32-05.00.
