Wautoma Claybusters fall to Berlin, 224-190
The Wautoma High School Claybusters held their first home meet against the high school team from Berlin. The home meet was held at the Wautoma Rod and Gun Club, with varsity team consisting of Colten Belfeuil, Trevor Gohlke, Wyatt Juday, Lilly Koehler, Dakota Petrovich, Josiah Rohde, Jordan Schmidt, James Tetzlaff, Joshua Wedde and Leo Weiss.
Even though the temperatures were in the 40s, a strong north wind hampered the shooters. The team fell to Berlin, 224-190.
The Junior Varsity team including Caprice Juday, Brady Nbyhuis, Renee Margalski, Isaiah Rohde, Tim Roeske, Ethan Trater and Casey Wedde were able to pull out a victory over the Berlin JV team, shooting a team high of 174 over Berlin’s 166.
The next Claybusters meet will be against the Winneconne High School Team at the Springbrook Sportsman’s Club, Omro, on Monday, March 26, at 4:30 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.
