Wautoma boys tie for 2nd at home meet

The Wautoma boys track team tied for second place with Ripon behind Berlin recording 68 points at their home relay competition on March 29. Following Berlin’s 78 points and Ripon and Wautoma’s 68 points after 14 events were: Waupaca, 58; Winneconne, 54; Omro, 44.

Taking 1st place in their events for Wautoma were: the 4x100 Meter Relay Team with a time of 45.15; the 4x200 Meter Relay Team with a time of 1:35.94; the 3x100 Meter Shuttle Hurdle Relay Team with a time of 49.32; Matthew Maciaga with a long jump of 19-06.25; and: Ryan Lois with a triple jump of 40-04.00.

Placing 2nd in their relay competitions were the 3x1600 Meter Relay Team with a time of 15:41.41; Max Bennett recording a high jump of 5-06.00;

Rounding out the top three in their events were: Max Bennett with a long jump of 17-11.50; and Cade Peterson recording a triple jump of 38-07.50.
