Tri-County falls to Wild Rose, 65-54

The Tri-County Penguins boys’ basketball team hosted the Wild Rose Wildcats for a Central Wisconsin Conference-10 matchup on Feb. 1. With tough competition coming from both ends of the court, the Wildcats were able to head home with the 65-54 win.

 With relatively crowded gymnasium, the Penguins were able to rally to tie the game, 13-13, midway through the first half. The Wildcats reclaimed their lead and ended the first for a 29-26 lead over the Penguins.

Six Wildcats contributed points in the first half, including: Nick Erickson, 10 points; Evan Erickson, 7 points; Tanner Hudziak, 6 points; and Jacob Pettit, Alec VandeCastle, 2 points; and Jacob Lund, 2 points.
