Lecher and Anderson qualify for state bowling
Tri-County High School bowlers, senior Seth Lecher and junior Melinda Anderson finished second in their divisions and will be bowling at the state tournament in Madison March 6-9.
Lecher finished second in the boys’ division bowling 180 frames this season, including 85 strikes, 69 spares, and 26 open frames with a fill percentage of 85.5556. Lecher trails Dakota Dickinson of the Wisconsin Dells who holds 110 strikes and 45 spares in 180 frames.
Anderson finished second in the girls’ division, bowling 147 frames this season, including 53 strikes, 61 spares, and 33 open frames with a fill percentage of 77.5510. Anderson trails Samantha Henry of the Wisconsin Dells who holds 52 strikes and 81 spares in 170 frames.
