Lady Pioneers end Hornets season

The Westfield Lady Pioneers initial burst propelled them to a 61-44 Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) Regional win verse Wautoma on Feb. 24.

Westfield was able to jump out to an early 16-6 first quarter lead thanks to a couple three-pointers by Alyson Stauffacher along with seven points from offensive rebound kick outs.

Wautoma showed some grit in the second quarter as they attempted to make it a game. The Lady Hornets shrunk the lead to seven, but that was the extent of closeness.
