Wautoma High School prepares for Legally Blonde performance Nov. 5-6

Students and community members have been waiting for the spotlight to shine down on the Wautoma PAC stage for the annual Wautoma High School musical. This year the students have been working hard to prepare for their Nov. 5 and 6 performance of “Legally Blonde”, based on the novel and the hit-movie of the same name.

Prepare to be transported on the journey of the famously perky Elle Woods, a fashion-savvy, UCLA sorority girl who finds her life turned upside down when she is dumped by her boyfriend Warner. In an effort to prove to Warner that she is more than just some blonde sorority girl, she follows him to Harvard Law, where she struggles to fit in and do well. Ultimately, she defies expectations and manages to stay true to her delightfully pink personality.

Make time to visit the McComb/Bruchs Performing Arts Center for the fun-filled journey through the musical chronicles of Elle Woods. The show will take place on Friday, Nov. 5, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 6 at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at the PAC box office from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday – Friday, and can be reached at 920-787-2189. There will be special ticket prices for Adults, Students, and Children.

There will be limited seating this year in order to maintain social distancing, and masks will be required for the performances.
