Subhead

Four Tri-County students participated in the Delta Kappa Gamma literary contest this past February: Cameren Lehoullier, Zoey Baughman, Carsten Roby, and Nate Glaman.  Zoey Baughman took first place for fifth graders throughout the area with her piece “Still in Our Hearts” and her teacher is Korryn Dean.  Nate Glaman’s piece “The Kid Named Champ” took first place for fourth graders throughout the area and his teacher is Jessica Rettler.  Both of their pieces have been sent onto the state literary committee where they will compete against entries from across Wisconsin.  Also placing in the contest was Carsten Roby, tying for second place, with his piece “The Mars Explorers and the Peskie UFO’s”.  The first and second place winners received a certificate and a Barnes & Noble gift card from the local Delta Kappa Gamma chapter.
