Tri-County High School February Students of the Month

Samuel Raboin, ninth grade, is a good student who is always punctual, prepared, and contributes to discussion in class according to Megan Woyak.  He always takes care of his academics, and is quick to make up assignments if he is absent.  Ms. Woyak said that he is very respectful and has a great attitude in class and in sports.  Joe Raboin said that he has always been impressed with Sam’s work ethic and character.  Sam is very responsible and always gives his best with everything he does.  According to Mr. Raboin, Sam is unique in that he is always a positive leader while also truly being a team player.

 

Ninth grader, Jacob Snow, is always polite and helpful according to Anne Smith.  Jacob works hard to do the right thing and wants to make sure others are included.  Mrs. Smith said Jacob also loves to read non-fiction and learn new things.

Madysun Selthofner, tenth grade, is a bright and determined student.  Katlyn Dugenske said that Madysun is a hard worker and thoughtful classmate, and she is always willing to add unique insights to class discussions and learning tasks.

 

Tenth grader, Karissa Rettler, is an exceptional student and individual according to Joe Raboin.  Karissa is very involved with her school and community.  Mr. Raboin said she works hard to always do well at every task at hand whether it is in the classroom or on the court.  Karissa is a natural leader which makes her an asset to her school and community.

Karen Starkey, eleventh grade, is a wonderful student said Jen Montgomery.  Karen is kind, dependable, and helpful to everyone.  Mrs. Montgomery said she is a very talented artist and has put in a lot of effort to make quality work.  Karen is down-to-Earth, fun to be around, responsible, and very intelligent.

Eleventh grader, Isaiah Buchberger, is a unique student who seems to teach others as much as he learns according to Joe Raboin.  Isaiah is very social, has a warm personality, and works hard to do well in school and other activities.  Mr. Raboin said that Isaiah is one to make ordinary special and brighten the activities that he is a part of.  Katlyn Dugenske said that Isaiah is a very driven and conscientious student.  Whether discussing with his classmates, reading a book for class, or helping his peers, Isaiah seems to approach almost everything with a solution-focused and empowered perspective.

Brooke Anderson, twelfth grade, cheerfully and accurately finishes any library work assigned to her as a library aide said Anne Smith.  Brooke is prompt and courteous.  According to Megan Woyak, Brooke has continually pushed herself by taking courses that would have previously been outside her comfort zone.  Brooke works hard to get good grades and contribute to class discussions.  She is respectful, considerate, and has a very kind heart.  Ms. Woyak said that Brooke is always willing to stand up for what is right.  She is a good student and individual.

 

Twelfth grader, Alexus Hicks, has continued to impress Lara Nugent throughout her time here at Tri-County.  Alexus has shown exceptional strength in her academics, especially science and math.  Mrs. Nugent said that her talents in these courses have furthered her postsecondary pursuits in forensic biochemistry and she is very proud of her.  Not only is Alexus an intelligent young lady, she is kind, respectful, responsible, and dedicated.  According to Mrs. Nugent, she has shown these characteristics both in and out of the classroom, and knows they will play a huge role in her success in college, and in life.
