Tri-County announces April High School Students of the Month

Skye Hopkins, ninth grade, is off to a successful freshman year according to David Krystowiak.  She completes all tasks to the highest levels of work, is a very humble young lady, kind to her classmates, and always willing to help. Joe Raboin said that Skye has been a quiet leader in biology all school year. She works very hard to do well and keep her grades up. According to Mr. Raboin, Skye works well with other students and on her own. Jen Montgomery said that Skye is always on top of her studies and is a role model as far as effort and behavior in class. In art, Skye goes the extra mile to create high quality work to the best of her ability. Mrs. Montgomery said that Skye has natural talent combined with excellent effort and craftsmanship.

Ninth grader, Morgan Anderson, is always polite and helpful said Anne Smith. Morgan is a joy to have in the library and helps with whatever is needed. According to Hattie Rettler, Morgan is a great student to have in class. She is always willing to work hard and help others out.

Elaina Cummings, tenth grade, is a very conscientious young lady said David Krystowiak.  Elaina is a willing participant in class discussions and is very authentic and thoughtful in her comments. According to Mr. Krystowiak, she completes work to the best of her abilities but what really stands out about Elaina, is her warm smile and welcome that greets both classmates and staff alike.

Tenth grader, Valerie Hosen, is always happy, helpful, and works hard said Anne Smith. She stays focused on what she wants to accomplish and gives Mrs. Smith great feedback to be able to help. According to Jen Montgomery, Val is an outgoing, fun student to be around. She gives her best effort in everything she does and makes the day enjoyable.  Mrs. Montgomery said that Val is here to learn and to participate actively in school. She has applied to NHS, joined softball, and Quiz Bowl. Val is funny, helpful, and a great addition to the TC School District. Katlyn Dugenske said that Val is an incredibly hard worker and is always engaging and taking responsibility for her learning. According to Ms. Dugenske, Val has grown a lot more confident over the course of the year, especially in answering questions during discussions.  She’s very authentic, kind, and willing to help out when needed.  In choir, Abby Glenn said that Val is always eager to sing, gets along well with her classmates, and is truly a joy. Val’s voice continues to improve over the years, and she has Mrs. Glenn laughing almost every day in class.  Class is more fun with Val in it.

Victoria Pronschinske, eleventh grade, is a polite, hardworking, and driven young lady. Megan Woyak said that Tori asks when she needs clarification on an assignment or the literature they are reading. Tori sets a positive example for the underclassmen to follow. According to Ms. Woyak, she continually pushes herself to excel in her academics as well as the sports and other extracurricular activities that she is involved in. Hattie Rettler said that Tori is a very positive student to have in class and that her energetic personality is a great addition to any classroom.  Tori’s leadership on the volleyball court and softball field is also a great asset to her teams.

Eleventh grader, Morelle Heiden, has a special social energy and warm personality which she brings to class, National Honor Society, and environmental education said Joe Raboin.  Morelle works hard to ensure that she does well with classes and organizatons that she is a part of.  Mr. Raboin said that she is an important student piece in the TC science department. Katlyn Dugenske said that Morelle has really pushed herself in AP Language this semester. Morelle is a very bright student who works well no matter what classmates she’s paired with during discussions and is actively engaged in the reading, essays, and in class tasks, always bringing a unique and strong opinion to the class. According to Abby Glenn, Morelle is always bubbly, talkative and in a good mood. She interacts with all of her classmates, includes everyone, and is a joy to be around.

 

David Roby, twelfth grade, is a very hard working individual. Hattie Rettler said that David is always willing to help others out when needed, and does so proudly. He is a great addition to the student body here at Tri-County.

Twelfth grader, Alexis Cleland, is a senior who has made great strides each year said Jen Montgomery. Alexis has been a student assistant in art for the entire year, and has done a remarkable job. According to Mrs. Montgomery, Alexis’ attention to detail is amazing.  She is kind, honest, and ready to learn. Alexis will be missed next year.
