Riverview nominates Student of the Month

Subhead

Third grade student, Harper Buschke, was named December’s Student of the Month at Riverview Elementary. Teacher, Kaycee Michalski, nominated Harper. Her nomination submission reads as follows: “It’s my honor to nominate Harper Buschke for student of the month. Harper’s kindness shines in our classroom every day. She is always kind to her teachers by being a great listener and following directions. I know I can depend on her for this. She’s also kind to her schoolmates. I’ve noticed that Harper will include anyone in her games at recess. It doesn’t matter who Harper is partnered with in class, she is cooperative and kind. Furthermore, Harper always gives her best effort. She takes her time when completing her work and always hands in quality work. Another reason I’ve nominated Harper is because of her ability to problem solve. When faced with adversity, she finds a way to be successful. Recently some of her homework was destroyed. Harper hand wrote out the assignment again, so that she would still be able to submit her work on time. For these reasons and more, it’s my pleasure to nominate Harper for Riverview’s Student of the Month honor.”
