Wild Rose Wildcats place third in track quadrangular

It was out of the ordinary for the Wild Rose Wildcats to place third overall in a track quadrangular they hosted on April 11. The Weyauwega-Fremont Warhawks took top honors with 100 points, followed by the Shiocton Chiefs with 68, the Wildcats with 65.5, and the Marion Mustangs with 5.5. Weyauwega-Fremont took home 6 first place finished which came in the 400m, 1600m, and 3200m relays, the 800m and 3200m runs, and the triple jump. Shiocton had 5 first place finishes which were in the 110m high and 300m hurdles, 800m relay, high jump, and the shot put. Wild Rose took the other 6 first place finishes. They were in the 100m, 200m, and 400m dashes, 1600m run, long jump, and discus. Marion unfortunately didn’t have any first place finishes.
