Wautoma/Wild Rose Harriers compete at A-F

On Sept. 8, the Wautoma/Wild Rose Cross Country Teams competed in a triangular meet at the Moundview Golf Course in Friendship.

The Wautoma/Wild Rose Girls Team finished first with a total of 16 points. Mauston and Adams-Friendship both scored 59 points.

Mya Bahr led the Hornet/Wildcats with a first place finish. Laney Havlovitz finished second, Madylyn Woyak third, Teagan Reitz fourth, Laney Panich sixth, Esther Brooks 10th, and Clare Williams 11th.

In the Junior Varsity Race, Megan Miller placed first, Layla Graser second, Jaidyn Knueppel third, Isybela Woyak fourth, Torrance Marquez fifth, Kinsey Reynolds seventh, Nina Skweres ninth, and Falyn Krempp 10th.

The Boys team placed second with 44 points. Mauston won the Boys Race with 24 points. Adams-Friendship was third with 67 points.

Aiden Doherty placed second, Ashton Schwartzman third, Elijah Williams, 12th, Caleb Dobbertin 13th, Wyatt McComb 14th, and Andrew Skogstad 17th.

Foster Skweres placed eighth and Espn Marquez ninth in the Junior Varsity Race.

The next action for the Wautoma/Wild Rose Harriers will be Thursday, Sept. 16, at Mauston.
