Wautoma Hornets sting Lomira Lions with 68-52 win

The Wautoma Hornets took control of the basketball court during a Dec. 8 boys’ basketball game against the Lomira Lions at Wautoma High School. The Hornets were able to secure a 68-52 win over their opponent.

Carson Armstrong and Brett Salm were alive on the court, each scoring 22 points. Armstrong recorded six 3-pointers and 4 assists. Salm was able to make four 3-pointers while making 11 rebounds. Joseph Ascher put 13 points on the board, including two 3-pointers and 6 assists. Peter Idsvoog had 4 points on the board, followed by Logan Dunn with 3. Landon Kalata and Carter Meyer each had 2 points of their own.

The Hornets are now 2-3 for the 2022/23 season.
