Lady Wildcats place third in quadrangular meet

This year the Wild Rose Ladycats took third place in a track quadrangular they hosted on April 11. The Weyauwega-Fremont Lady Warhawks went home with first place with 119 points, the Shiocton Lady Chiefs second with 61 points, followed by the hosts with 22 points and the Marion Lady Mustangs with 12 points. Weyauwega-Fremont walked away with 7 first place finishes which include: the 400m and 3200m relays, the 100m high hurdles, 3200m run, the high jump, discus, and shot put. Shiocton ended up with 7 first place finishes, as well and they were in: the 100m and 200m dashes, the 800m and 1600m relays, the long and triple jumps, and the 300m hurdles. Wild Rose’s two first place finishes came in the 800m and 1600m runs, while Marion didn’t have any. All of Wild Rose’s place finishers are as follows: 100m Dash: 5th – Mati Bigotti, 15.48 1600m Run: 1st – Mya Bahr, 5:47.24 800m Relay: 4th – Cali Bahr, Cally Manske, Mati Bigotti, and Bruna Pineda, 2:08.34 800m Run: 1st – Mya Bahr, 2:35.75 and 4th – Bruna Pineda, 3:01.84 1600m Relay: 4th – Bruna Pineda, Mati Bigotti, Cali Bahr, and Mya Bahr, 4:52.40 High Jump: 8th – Cally Manske, 3’6” Shot Put: 4th – Mya Bahr, 24’6”
