The Wautoma Lady Hornets and Westfield Lady Pioneers played a close match during a Sept. 15 conference volleyball game at Wautoma High School. It was a close match, but Wautoma pulled through a win in 5 sets.
Wautoma won the game with scores of 22-25, 25-27, 15-25, 25-20, and 15-11.
Wautoma stat leaders included Ava Stahl with 28 digs, Montana Groskreutz with 21 kills, Brianna Buechner with 20 assists and 3 aces, and Allison Botters with 4 blocks.
Westfield’s Brandi Lentz recorded 31 digs, 17 kills and 4 blocks, while Maddie Chappell recorded 36 assists and 4 aces.
