Ascher and Johnson take charge of the court during Wautoma Hornet win

The Wautoma Hornets won their Regional Game with the help of a strong presence from Gabe Ascher, who scored 34 points on the night, followed by Logan Johnson at 22 points. The Hornets took control of the intense game against Weyauwega-Fremont and won 81-73.

Along with Ascher’s 34 points he successfully managed 9 assists and 6 rebounds. Johnson had 2 assists with his 22 points on the board.

This win earned the team the right to play the number one seed, St. Mary Catholic in Neenah on Feb. 19.
