Poy Sippi Food Pantry receives many blessings

To the Editor:

Overwhelmingly grateful, thankful, blessed, appreciative describes how the volunteers feel at the Poy Sippi Food Pantry.
We appreciate so much the work of the United States Postal Service that made it possible for a huge donation of food. The Whitetail Unlimited had a wonderful food and monetary donation; the Aurora Snowblazers had a huge monetary donation for us and the Poy Sippi Lions gave large monetary donations along with their monthly donations of food and money.
First National Bank employees also gave a monetary donation, and the continuous donations of food and monetary donations from Sacred Heart/St. Marks, Poy Sippi and Borth Methodist, Emmaus Lutheran, First Lutheran, businesses in Poy Sippi, Poy Sippi Firemen, Poy Sippi Betterment, First Lutheran Endowment Fund and all the individual donations of money, pigs, eggs and other food make the pantry so successful.
The Poy Sippi Food Pantry is open the second and third Friday of the month from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., in November we will always be open the first and third Fridays of the month with the same hours for the years to come. The pantry also gives emergency help and serves the townships of Poy Sippi, Saxeville, Leon, West Bloomfield and Aurora. No referrals are needed. Proof of address and a form will needed to be filled out on the first visit to the pantry.
We are so proud of our pantry and the wonderful support we get.
