Tammy Jean Strelow (lovingly known as: Grandma Ford Truck or Mema) age 61, of Redgranite, passed away unexpectedly, Friday morning, April 7, 2023 at her home. She was born September 9, 1961 in Racine County, the daughter of Leonard and Judith (Tuttle) Simonsen. She married Phillip M. Strelow on October 3, 1998 in Union Grove. Tammy grew up in Racine County where she attended Union Grove High School. She moved to Wautoma in 2006 where she worked for Wautoma Area Schools. She was the glue that held her family together. Her greatest love was spending time with family and friends, watching her Packers, crocheting, outdoors, and her furbabies. She is survived by her husband, Phillip Strelow, Redgranite; her children, Terrie (Eric) Cayemberg, John (Michelle) Epping, Judith (Patrick) Pauers, Jacob (Danielle) Epping, David Epping, Eddie (Christina) Bauer, Jackie (Joe) Silverman, and Travis Strelow; 22 grandchildren; her mother Judith Simonsen; siblings, Cully (Bruce) Botcher, Susan (Randy) Dilley, Leonard (Linda) Simonsen Jr, Jan Beutow, Pam (Ray) Thorsen, Mary Villa, and Jim Strelow; Mother in law, Rose Strelow. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Simonsen (Sr), father-in-law James Strelow, sister and brother-in-laws (Nancy, Judy, Bill, Phil, and Don), niece (Heather) and nephew (Randy Jr). A Celebration of Tammy’s life will be held at Stahl Celebration & Remembrance Center, Hwy. 21 East, Wautoma, on Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 10-1 with service following.
